How each tool is made
Official sources first
Rates come from Finance Acts, Excise and Taxation schedules and FBR withholding tax cards. Where only a news report exists, the page says so.
Every year kept
A new budget adds a year instead of overwriting the last one, so you can see how a fee changed and check an old receipt.
Private by default
Calculators work in your browser. There are no accounts, and nothing you type into a calculator is sent to us.
English and Urdu
Tools are written for people dealing with the paperwork themselves, in the language they read most easily.
Questions people ask
Are the tools free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no paid tier. Some pages carry ads to cover hosting.
Are you connected to the government?
No. This is an independent site. We read the Finance Acts, Excise schedules and FBR rate cards that departments publish and turn them into calculators. Always confirm the final amount with the office that issues your challan.
How current are the rates?
Each tool is updated after the federal and provincial budgets, usually in June and July, and whenever a notification changes a rate mid-year. Every rate shows the fiscal year it applies to and the document it came from.
Do you store what I type into a calculator?
No. Calculators run in your browser. We only receive what you send through the contact form. The privacy policy has the details.
I found a wrong figure. What should I do?
Use the contact form and choose "Report a wrong figure". A photo of your challan or a link to the notification helps us fix it faster.
