Why this site exists

Most of the rules that decide what you pay are public. They are also spread across Finance Acts, provincial schedules, SROs and department websites that move or go offline. Finding the one line that applies to your car, your salary or your property usually means reading a scanned PDF or trusting a forum post.

Each tool here does that reading once, carefully, and keeps the result up to date so you do not have to.

What we have built so far

• AutoTax: Vehicle token tax, registration and transfer costs for every province.
• PostCode: Post codes and post offices across Pakistan, and the offices nearest to you.

Each tool lives in its own section of the site, with its own data, its own sitemap and its own about page explaining its sources.

Where the numbers come from

We work from the documents departments publish: federal and provincial Finance Acts, Excise and Taxation schedules, and FBR withholding tax cards. Every rate is stored with the fiscal year it applies to and a link to its source. When a source is a news report rather than an official document, or when a document is ambiguous, the tool says so on the page instead of guessing quietly.

When a new budget passes, the new year is added next to the old ones. Nothing is overwritten, which is how the tools can show year-on-year changes.

Reference tools such as PostCode work the same way: they use the published directory, say which source each record comes from, and list what the source leaves out.

Independent and free

We are not part of, or paid by, any government department. The tools are free to use without an account. Some pages may carry advertising to pay for hosting; ads never change the numbers a tool shows.
