Privacy policy
Short version: calculators run in your browser and we never see what you type into them. We only hold what you choose to send us through the contact form.
Calculators and tools
You do not need an account. Values you enter into a calculator (engine size, price, province and so on) are processed in your browser. When a tool fetches rates from our servers, the request asks for a rate table, not your details. Some tools remember your last choice, such as language, in your own browser; you can clear it at any time.
Location. PostCode's "post offices near me" asks your browser for your location only when you press that button, and your browser asks your permission first. The page rounds it to two decimal places (about 1 km) before sending it, and our server uses it only to look up the nearest post offices. It is not stored or linked to you.
Contact form
When you send a message we receive:
- the reason you chose, your name, email address, subject and message;
- optional details you add, such as the tool, the page address or your organisation;
- the time it was sent, your approximate country and your browser type, taken from the request;
- a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to limit abuse. We do not store the IP address itself.
We use this to read and reply to your message and to stop spam. The message is delivered to our inbox (contact@toolsforpakistanies.com) and a copy is kept in our database so it is not lost if email fails. We keep messages for 12 months and then delete them automatically, unless an ongoing conversation needs them longer. We never sell your details, add you to a mailing list or send you anything except a reply.
Spam protection
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile runs a check in your browser and may process device and browser signals; it does not show you puzzles in most cases. Cloudflare processes this under its own privacy policy.
Hosting and logs
The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes request data such as IP address, browser type and the page requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We look at aggregate traffic and error counts; we do not build profiles of individual visitors.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Choose "Privacy request" on the contact form and use the same email address you wrote from, so we can find your messages. We reply within 30 days.
Children
The site is meant for adults dealing with taxes and fees. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
